Garden & Boundary Walls in Bicester

New garden and boundary walls in brick or stone, plus repairs and rebuilds.

A well-built garden wall frames the house and lasts for decades. I build new garden and boundary walls in brick or natural stone, and repair or rebuild walls that are leaning, cracked or have been knocked.

New walls are built on proper footings, in materials chosen to suit your house and the walls around it. Existing walls can often be saved: loose sections are taken down and rebuilt, damaged bricks or stones replaced, and the wall repointed and re-capped.

I also build brick steps and front door steps, and can clean existing walls so old and new work sit comfortably together.

Send a photo of the wall or a rough idea of what you'd like and I'll come and price it.

Garden Walls: common questions

Can you repair a damaged boundary wall?

Yes. I repair boundary walls by rebuilding the damaged section, replacing broken bricks or stone and repointing so the repair matches the rest of the wall.

Do you build garden walls in stone as well as brick?

Yes. I build garden walls in both brick and natural stone, chosen to suit the house and its surroundings.

Do I need planning permission for a garden wall?

Usually not for a low wall, but there are height limits, and stricter rules next to a road, in conservation areas and for listed buildings. Check with your local council's planning department before work starts.
